Wattamolla Beach
If you like my humble self are blessed with a travel gene then I must tell you, there are some great things to see down under and I don't necessarily mean Opera House in Sydney (well, ok that too!). Don't believe when they tell you there's not much to see between destinations in Australia. Challenge them and verify this by yourselves, I encourage you sincerely.
Sitting just outside of Sydney, approx. 50km south east is probably one of the most beatiful beaches on this great island which many of us quite ridiculously chose to call a continent.
It's rather secluded and remote place and in case you wonder, those are positive. This place offers a lot of privacy even though you can drive up almost to the very shore in a station wagon. Another big plus is there's no mobile reception over there so that may probably discourage certain individuals from going up there. Again, as you may agree, plus!
Anyhow, quiet, surrounded by beautiful cliffs with a silent shallow lagoon just below the ramp as you go down to the beach, all this will make you wonder about the meaning of life or perhaps you will just want to lay down on sand and spend some time appreciating these fine surroundins.
