Ostrołęka > Mława :)
This time around we had something else in mind although, fair enough, pretty much the same starting point which was fine city of Ostrołęka. After a bit of a shock entering train station waiting area where gloomy dark scraped off walls and a gentleman snoring on one of the old wooden benches greeted us we quickly jumped off on our bikes and headed for the city center to grab some breakfast.
If you will ever have a stopover here please give this place a try because it was worth every penny. Very friendly staff and really nice food. By and large this joint is known for pan cakes but you can get scrambled eggs on bacon and some fine coffee if that's your neck of the woods.
Huge shout out to the good folks in "BB Loft", check them out:

Once we've had our bellies filled up it was time for us to finally go and head for Mława which was like 100km away from us. Not bad, we estimated 5-6h of a leisure ride with some quick stops along the way, nothing fancy, just you know one of those lazy Saturdays. I bet some of you could do it under 3 hours but that wasn't our aim that day.
Boy, was it worth it (here I am excited again!), but the roads we took were just remarkable. Lots of changes since I was riding/driving on them because in my head they were still like bumpy and filled with pot holes. None of that, seriously. Flat as a pan cake tarmac, no holes, fine markings on the road - I felt like I missed the whole millenium :) Very little traffic as well which by no means was an issue for us :)
Long story short, here's the route. It's easy to get to too, all you have to do is to jump on a local train which is leaving from Warszawa Wileńska train station and that will get you to Ostrołęka (there's a stopover in Tłuszcz where you need to switch trains). Once you get to Mława, from Mława Miasto train station there are local trains running quite regularly and they will get you back to Warsaw in the evening, so there you go, that makes another perfect day! :)
